Assignment 1: Email Me

The purpose of this assignment is to introduce yourself to me; test the email system; review email skills and information and set up the organization that will be the case study for all your homework assignments.You are welcome to add any interesting or important information about yourself, if you like. This would be a good place to explain any special circumstances you have that you would like me to take into consideration.
- Create a new Word document.
- Name the document with your Last Name and First Name - no spaces, commas, etc. - 10 points
- If you have a nickname let me know in the Word document. Also, list your major. 10 points.
- Copy and paste a copy of the cheating and homework sections given in the syllabus into your Word document. 15 points
- All of your assignments for the semester will be based on an organization you design. You can choose a business, an non-profit, or a government agency. Your organization will have a staff of 5 - you are the boss! Describe your organization, including the names and job descriptions of your staff, in two paragraphs in your Word document. 40 points
- Find or create an image that you will use for your company logo. Attach this file to your email. 25 points
If items 3 - 5 are not in a Word document, you will only receive half credit for these items.

Your subject line must have 1) Your Last name - required on all emails 2) Assigment 1
Whatever email address you use to send Assignment 1 is the email address I will put in my records and use to email you during the semester. This is especially important if you turn in a project with a bad disk. I will use this address to let you know that we need a new disk.
